I’m moving. How do I transfer service?

If you’re moving to a new home or apartment, you should call your utility to place a disconnect order and arrange for service at the new location. Then contact one of our Customer Care Representatives at 866-258-3782 or email care@aepenergy.com to let us know your plans. Although you can’t transfer your agreement to the new location, you can sign up your new account under a new contract if it is within a territory we serve. Please check your service agreement to determine if your contract requires you to give AEP Energy notice prior to moving in order to avoid an early termination fee.
